1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using GhostTech ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Service Description

GhostTech uses real Android sensors — magnetometer, accelerometer, microphone and camera — to generate readings in recreational paranormal investigation contexts. It also includes a community feature where users can register and explore paranormal sites.

3. Eligibility

To create an account and access the community features you must be at least 13 years old (or 16 if you reside in the European Union). By accepting these terms you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account linked to the app.
• You must not share your account or allow third-party access.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. User-Generated Content

By publishing paranormal sites or other content in the app, you agree that:

• The content is yours or you have the rights to publish it.
• You will not post false, misleading, offensive, illegal or third-party-rights-infringing content.
• You will not post false GPS coordinates or misleading location information.
• GhostTech may remove any content that violates these rules without prior notice.

Content you publish remains your property. By publishing it you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it to other users of the service.

6. Prohibited Conduct

The following is strictly prohibited:

• Using the app to harass, threaten or intimidate other people.
• Publishing content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights.
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts or app data.
• Using automated means (bots, scrapers) to interact with the service.
• Interfering with the normal operation of the application.

7. Intellectual Property

The code, design, logos and audiovisual elements of GhostTech are the property of GhostTech or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute or modify these elements without express written authorisation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• GhostTech does not guarantee the accuracy of sensor readings or the detection of any phenomenon.
• GhostTech is not liable for decisions made based on the app's readings.
• GhostTech assumes no liability for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the application.

9. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time and without prior notice.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Account Termination

You may request deletion of your account at any time by writing to heslign@gmail.com. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
